Hi! My name is Laura Varney and I’m a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer, nutrition coach and certified yoga instructor in Los Angeles. I specialize in weight loss, body sculpting, strength and functional training, HIIT (high intensity interval training) and power vinyasa yoga. I recently combined my knowledge in fitness, yoga and nutrition to create a 12 Week Guide to Wellness that includes 12 weeks of strength training, metabolic conditioning, cardio, yoga, nutrition, recipes and meditation. I have a passion for all things wellness and love being active and traveling. Some of my favorite activities include hiking, sweaty workouts, traveling to new places, brunching with friends and snuggling with my English Bulldog Gus.

I moved to LA from the suburbs of Atlanta to attend grad school at the University of Southern California. I got my masters degree in journalism (hence my love of writing and creating content). I worked in PR for a few years and while I gained valuable experience, I knew my passion was fitness and nutrition. I left and eventually began my career in the wellness industry. Now most of my days now consist of training clients one on one, teaching a class that I created on my own called Hustle + Flow and creating content to share with you guys!

I love to switch up my workout routine to include a variety in my regimen including hiking, strength training, yoga, Pilates, kickboxing and running. One of my philosophies is, "As soon as your body starts to adapt, change the routine and challenge it." My program follows this philosophy. It allows you to get in an amazing workout while surprising your body every time.
